SERVICES
Why Obenrum Untenrum?
Here’s what we stand for.
Your body isn’t a riddle – but sometimes it feels like one. Here, specialist gynaecological expertise, sexual medicine and hormone know-how come together in a mix that finds no question too embarrassing. In English as well as in German. We look at the whole picture – obenrum, untenrum (German for “up top, down below”) and everything in between.
Specialist in gynaecology & obstetrics
Sound medical knowledge – from check-ups to obstetrics.
Additional qualification in sexual medicine
Because sexuality is part of health – and it’s time it was treated that way.
Safe space – free of discrimination
All bodies, all identities, all questions. There’s room for you here.
Enough time for real advice
No ticking clock, no five-minute slots. Just you and your questions.
Our services
Health doesn’t follow a template. That’s why we adapt our advice to you – not the other way round. Here’s an overview of our services: from gynaecological check-ups and hormonal support to questions of sexual medicine. There’s room for whatever is really on your mind – whoever you are and whatever your story.
Gynaecology & pregnancy
From your annual check-up through pregnancy to aftercare – we’re there for you at every stage. Ultrasound, cancer screening, contraceptive advice and pregnancy care are at the heart of what we do. And if anything is unclear, we talk it through – calmly.

BOOK AN APPOINTMENTAbout me
I’m Helen Sange – a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with an additional qualification in sexual medicine. After years in hospital and in various practices, I founded “Obenrum Untenrum” because I’m convinced that people need more time, more openness and less shame. I believe in medicine on equal terms – whether it’s about check-ups, hormones or the question you haven’t dared to ask yet.

The practice also has a gallery with
changing exhibitions
Between art and the body, between encounter and intimacy: the gallery sees itself as an open space for contemporary perspectives on identity, sexuality and physicality. Here the most varied viewpoints meet – sensual, critical, humorous or thoughtful – and invite you to take a fresh look at social roles, closeness and shame, desire and vulnerability.
Every exhibition opens a dialogue about what connects and divides us, what we show and what we hide, what makes us curious and what moves us. The result is a lively place where art becomes part of everyday life – open to everyone, regardless of gender, orientation or experience.
